Statement to Accessibility.
This statement applies to the website www.fahrschulesuv.de the Driving school S.U.V. GmbH and describes the status of accessibility in accordance with the Accessibility Strengthening Act (BFSG) and the EU Directive 2019/882.
1. Scope
This declaration applies to all publicly accessible content of the domain www.fahrschulesuv.de — including main pages, class pages, theory plan, pre-registration, blog and contact forms.
We are guided by the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 of the W3C in conformity level AA as well as the requirements of the Accessible Information Technology Regulation (BITV 2.0).
1a. Description of the service
Via www.fahrschulesuv.de we provide consumers with the following online services in accordance with Section 14 BFSG:
- Information about driving license classes (Class B, B197, BF17, BE, B96): Requirements, procedure, minimum age, special trips and examination procedure.
- Online pre-registration for driving training (step-by-step form with selection of class, course type and personal information).
- Theory plan view with current weekly schedules, public holidays and school vacation information.
- Contact options via form, telephone, email and WhatsApp.
Notes on use: All functions can be operated both with the mouse and exclusively with the keyboard (Tab, Enter, arrow keys, Esc). Pre-registration can be completed without creating an account. Entries in mandatory fields are checked before sending and errors are described in text form (not just marked by color).
2. Status of compatibility
This website complies with the requirements of the Accessibility Strengthening Act partially compatible. The website was designed with WCAG 2.1 AA in mind. The following measures have already been implemented:
- Semantic HTML5 with correct heading hierarchy and landmarks (header, main, footer, nav).
- Language attribute
lang="en"at document level. - Alternative texts for content-relevant images; purely decorative images are considered
aria-hidden="true"marked. - Visible keyboard focus indicators on interactive elements.
- Full keyboard usability of all functions (tab navigation, enter activation, ESC to close modals).
- Skip-to-content link at the top of the page for keyboard and screen reader users.
- Sufficient color contrast according to WCAG 2.1 AA (minimum contrast 4.5:1 for continuous text, 3:1 for large text).
- Responsive layout that scales up to 400% zoom without loss of functionality.
- Structured data (JSON-LD according to schema.org) for machine-readable description of content.
- Readable fonts (Inter, Montserrat) with appropriate line height and word spacing.
- No time-critical input or automatically playing media.
- Forms with explicitly linked
<label>elements and descriptive error messages. - Motion animations respect the system setting
prefers-reduced-motion— when reduction is activated, animations are deactivated or greatly shortened.
3. Known limitations
According to our current knowledge, the following content or functions are not or not completely barrier-free:
- Decorative animations: Some UI elements (liquid glass effects, ambient orbiting glow, hero background) are decorative. We respect
prefers-reduced-motion; However, decorative effects may remain visible in individual areas. - Embedded Third Party Content (Google Maps, social media widgets, possibly embedded videos): We have no direct influence on the accessibility of these components.
- PDF documents (Theory plan export, flyer): Some older documents are not structured in a completely barrier-free manner. Improvements are made on an ongoing basis; If requested, we can alternatively provide the content in a readable form.
- Complex content (e.g. theory plan weekly grid): The alternative text description is continually being improved.
We are continually working to make all content fully accessible.
4. Preparation of this statement
This declaration was made on May 7, 2026 created on the basis of a self-assessment and is based on a manual check of the website (keyboard navigation, screen reader sampling, contrast measurement, automated lighthouse and ax tests).
Last review: May 7, 2026. The next review will take place no later than 12 months or if there are significant changes to the website.
