  • Since April 1, 2021, B197 has been the special form of class B (§ 17a FahrschAusbO): practical test for automatic transmission, but a full class B license without code 78. Requirement: 10 driving hours on the switch plus 10 on the automatic, finally a 15-minute test drive on the switch (approved by the driving instructor). You complete compulsory special trips on automatic.
