Theory
How the theory lessons are organised
There are eight theory lessons a week on six days, so you never have to wait for a course to start.
Our theory lessons run from Monday to Saturday. During the week they start in the late afternoon or in the evening, and on Saturdays at midday. On two days there are two lessons one after the other, which is how we get to eight double lessons a week.
The 14 topics keep starting again from the beginning. That means you join with whichever topic is on that day and then go round once until you've done them all. If you want to hear a topic again, just come back, and it won't cost you anything extra. The theory timetable shows which topic is on when.
Lessons are taught in German. If you don't understand something, you can ask in English or Arabic and we'll explain it in that language. You can take the theory test itself at the TÜV in German or in 14 other languages.

Driving lessons
How you book your driving lessons
You arrange your lessons directly with your instructor, not through a central office.
You get one instructor who stays with you, and you talk to them directly. That's why lessons here can usually be moved at short notice: there's nobody in the middle who has to check first.
Nobody can honestly tell you in advance how many practice lessons you'll need. The only fixed number is the twelve mandatory drives (Sonderfahrten) for class B. What we can promise is an honest assessment after every lesson, so you can see for yourself where you are and how far you still have to go.
- One instructor who stays with you and arranges your lessons with you directly.
- Practice lessons and mandatory drives last 45 minutes, as the training regulations require.
- We do country road and motorway drives as double lessons, because you first have to get out of Düsseldorf.
- Before the theory test you take a mock test with us, and only after that do we clear you for the TÜV.
Prices
What your training costs
Our price list is public, so you don't have to register to see it.
The price list shows the base fee, the driving lessons and the test entry fees, each one separately. The prices you see when you pre-register apply for the whole of your training.
Some costs don't come from us: the TÜV fees, the fee at the driving licence office (Straßenverkehrsamt), the eye test (Sehtest), the first-aid course (Erste-Hilfe-Kurs) and your passport photo. You pay for those directly, and they're the same whichever driving school in Düsseldorf you choose. Our guide to costs shows what they add up to.
Instructors
Who teaches you
Three instructors, each with a name and a public profile. With us, you're never just a number.

To be honest
What we won't promise you
There are four things we don't promise, because they aren't in our hands.
- How many driving lessons you'll need. Anyone who gives you a number before your first lesson is guessing. The twelve mandatory drives are fixed, but everything before them depends on you.
- A date for your licence. Your application is with the driving licence office, and the TÜV gives out the test dates. We don't decide either of those, and we won't pretend that we do.
- Anything about how your test will go. We put you in for the test when we think you're ready, and we'll tell you openly if you aren't yet. Taking the test too early is the most expensive shortcut you can take.
- A package price. A fixed package price only works if it assumes a certain number of lessons. If you need more, you pay for them anyway. That's why we charge for each lesson separately.
