Your path to class BE.

  1. Requirement

    Show class B.

    Class B must be present - mandatory. We check whether everything is correct and start immediately.

  2. Trailer theory

    Driving dynamics, clutch, physics.

    Everything you need to know about trailers: swaying, braking distance, loading, coupling. Clearly explained, close to the exam.

  3. Theory test

    Theory passed.

    TÜV theory test – we will register you when you are ready. Clear preparation, no surprises.

  4. Practice

    Maneuver until it sits.

    Clutching, reversing into the pits, tight corners, driving on the road — we really practice it repeatedly. Only for the exam when you have mastered it.

  5. Exam

    Exam. Extension. Complete.

    Passed the test, entry on your driving license - you can tow whatever you want, up to a total tow of 7,000 kg. EU-wide.

  • B96 is a key number extension (§ 6a FeV) - total trains up to 4,250 kg, without TÜV test, only at least 7 hours of training (2.5 theory + 3.5 practice + 1 in real traffic). Class BE is an independent class with TÜV testing: trailers up to 3,500 kg, total towing capacity up to 7,000 kg. You need BE for heavy horse trailers, large caravans, boat trailers or construction machinery. Minimum age 18, class B mandatory. BE is granted for 5 years, then extended administratively.
