Composed of basic fee (fixed amount €249), 12 compulsory special trips plus 25-35 practice hours (€60-70 each), teaching materials, eye test (~€7), first aid (~€40), TÜV theory €22.49, TÜV practice €116.93 and application fee (~€43). 12 special trips are required in accordance with Section 5 of the FahrschAusbO: 5 overland, 4 on the highway, 3 at night/twilight — 45 minutes each. Individual practice sessions. Nationwide average: 30-40. With good preparation, many of our students graduate in 25-35 hours. You go to the exam when your teacher confirms it - not according to the timetable.

Typically 3–6 months — depending on the pace of learning and TÜV workload. Theory start usually within a week of registration, parallel to the application (4-6 weeks). The 14 theory double lessons can be covered in 4-6 weeks. If you want speed, combine our intensive course with high-frequency practical appointments - the total duration is often 6-8 weeks.

Yes — above class B197 (since 2021). You check for automatic and get the full Class B license without restrictions. Requirement: at least 10 hours of automatic driving plus 10 on the switch, followed by a 15-minute test drive on the switch (approved by the driving instructor). No Code 78. Useful if you are nervous about exams or have little time for switching practice.

Probationary period 2 years from handover (§ 2a StVG), mandatory for new drivers under 21 0.0 per mille. For A violations (e.g. >21 km/h too fast, right of way, cell phone): probationary period extended to 4 years plus advanced seminar (~250-400 €). Three A violations lead to withdrawal and MPU obligation. We discuss the consequences in detail in theory lessons.

Repeat after two weeks at the earliest - Section 16 Paragraph 4 FeV applies to both. Costs: Theory €22.49, practice €116.93 (TÜV) plus any preparation hours. Nationwide Class B failure rate in the first attempt according to the TÜV report 2025: 36% theory, 32% practice - we are demonstrably below that. Before each repetition, your driving instructor gives an honest recommendation.

At the Düsseldorf Road Traffic Office, Höherweg 101: ID card with registration certificate, biometric passport photo (35 × 45 mm, max. 1 year old), eye test (~7 €, max. 2 years old), certificate of 9-hour first aid course (~40 €), application form with photo from the driving school and application fee (~43 €). In many cases, we submit the application directly to the office for you.
