During the summer holidays, school, exams and university stress are eliminated, so you can concentrate fully on theory and practice. Experience has shown that those who learn and drive without interruption need fewer driving lessons and are ready to take the exam more quickly. In addition, long, bright days and good weather are ideal for practicing driving in a relaxed manner.

With concentrated learning during the holidays, Class B can often be completed in just a few weeks. In the intensive/holiday course, up to several driving lessons are completed per day, so that the practical training can be completed in around two weeks. The exact duration depends on your previous experience, your learning pace and the TÜV exam dates. It is important to start early because the application to the authorities requires advance notice.

Realistically, the total costs for Class B in North Rhine-Westphalia are around €2,500 to €3,500, depending on the number of driving hours required. At the S.U.V. driving school In Düsseldorf-Oberbilk, a driving hour normally costs €65 (45 minutes). You should submit the application for a driving license to the road traffic office about four to eight weeks before the desired start of your training - processing takes time. If you want to go in the summer, it's best to register in early summer. During the initial consultation, we will explain to you step by step what documents you need (eye test, first aid course, passport photo, ID card) and will take care of the authorities together with you.

This is ideal for the summer holidays, a month off before the start of training or studies or when moving. Anyone who registers in early summer, submits the application in good time and consistently uses the holidays to drive will realistically have their driving license in their pocket before the start of the new school or semester - and thus more mobility for training, studies and jobs from day one.
